QLDC Tree planting on Ruby Island: Look out for adverts in the papers

Wastebusters is contributing to Keep New Zealand Beautiful with a clean up of the road sides from Wanaka to the airport this Friday the 11th, from 8 onwards. If you want to do your own clean-up, call Ivy (443 8606 ext 7) to arrange bags and gloves.

Earth Hour campaign

We have advertised Earth Hour in Assembly, showing all students and staff the “official” video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1CRs-7lRlPo also putting up posters Earth Hour poster and distributing stickers.

In our area was observed a 10% decrease of electricity consumption, which is of course not only thanks to us but we are proud we have contributed…
